The Gwennacast started in 2007 to chronicle the homecoming and bonding process with my new cockatiel Gwen. I enjoyed recording episodes so much, that I chose to continue with the podcast long after my bond with Gwen was established. Sadly on June 17, 2012, my Beloved Gwen passed away (or crossed over) as I like to say suddenly. She was only five, and we are perplexed as to why a bird so young would just cross. I have decided to keep the gwennacast going. I have chosen to keep the name in her honor, as a tribute to a loving, beautiful, sweet bird and a dear friend. Gwenna means blessing, and she was truly a blessing to me. I got her shortly after my beloved cockatiel Cloudy bAKA Mrs. O crossed over. Gwen taught me many things, she taught me how to laugh again, how to love with my whole heart, how to open my heart to love and approach life with a carefree, jovial attitude. Her gifts too many to count will live in my heart forever. It is with a heavy heart, but with great pride, I present to you the Gwennacast. There are clips of my Gwen here, and when you listen to her sweet voice, I hope you smile.
